Auditor

Jobs.com.cy Recruitment, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse client portfolio, is seeking to recruit an Auditor to join their dynamic team in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audit engagements for both local and international clients. Ideal applicants will hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and have approximately 3 years of experience in the audit sector. Part or fully ACA/ACCA qualified candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English are essential.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct audit engagements for local and international clients.
• Participate in client acceptance procedures and prepare the necessary KYC files.
• Understand clients’ businesses and identify risk areas to plan audit work.
• Prepare audit working papers and communicate with clients throughout the audit process.
• Execute and finalize audit work.
• Prepare tax computations and tax returns.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Approximately 3 years of audit experience in a firm is essential.
• ACA/ACCA qualification or nearing completion is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of IFRSs and ISAs.
• Familiarity with CaseWare audit methodology is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Good time management and the ability to work independently.
• Fluent in Greek and English with excellent communication skills.
• Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ambitious with a clear career goal in auditing.
