Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer Opportunity
Are you an experienced Senior DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer looking to advance your career? Join our client’s team, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the operational excellence of their products.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Design & Improvement: Collaborate closely with software engineers to design, enhance, and evaluate system performance using advanced monitoring and observability tools.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Investigate and resolve system malfunctions, support team members in identifying application misbehavior, implement effective solutions, and document findings through transparent and blameless postmortems.
- Monitoring & Metrics: Develop and maintain intelligent monitoring, metrics, and alerting systems for our services.
- Innovation & Ownership: Take initiative by contributing ideas that help our client stay ahead. Challenge existing processes and explore alternative approaches while considering business priorities and value creation.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share your expertise with colleagues through peer exchanges, guild meetings, and meet-ups.
- On-Call Support: Participate fully in the on-call program.
Requirements:
- AWS Expertise: Experience with the AWS ecosystem, including CloudFormation, ECS, CloudFront, CodePipelines, Lambda functions, and more.
- Industry Experience: Relevant experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Operations, preferably in an agile environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in shell scripting and Linux-based systems and tools.
- Experience with one or more programming languages: Go (preferably), Java, Kotlin, C, or C++.
- Mindset: A pragmatic, value-oriented approach that drives results in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Fluent in English.
Package and Benefits:
- Salary: EUR 55K – 65K Gross/Year, depending on experience.
