This role is crucial in designing, implementing, and maintaining our client’s comprehensive cyber security infrastructure. The primary objective is to protect the company’s critical assets, including intellectual property and sensitive customer data, from cyber threats and breaches.
We are looking for candidates with approximately five years of diverse experience in various cyber security domains, possessing a deep understanding of cyber security analysis, IT security best practices, and security infrastructure solutions. Professionals holding certifications such as CISSP, ISSAP, CEH, CASP, GSEC, or GCIH are highly encouraged to apply. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cyber Security Infrastructure Management: Take the lead in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s cyber security infrastructure to ensure the robust protection of critical assets.
- Security Event Monitoring: Conduct daily reviews and respond promptly to security events, alerts, and investigations to mitigate risks effectively.
- Threat Modeling: Engage in comprehensive threat modeling for both current and new application features and product launches to preemptively identify and address security risks.
- Collaborative Security Support: Work collaboratively with IT Service Management (ITSM), DevOps, Developers, and Technology & Infrastructure teams to support the delivery of projects and product improvements, ensuring security considerations are integral to every phase of development.
- Compliance with Security Standards: Ensure adherence to and implementation of globally recognized security standards and frameworks, such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, Swift CSCF, DORA, and PSD2, to maintain compliance and enhance the organization’s security posture.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Extensive Cyber Security Experience: Approximately five years of experience in various cyber security domains, with a strong understanding of cyber security analysis, IT security best practices, and security infrastructure solutions.
- Relevant Certifications: Possession of key information security certifications such as CISSP, ISSAP, CEH, CASP, GSEC, GCIH, or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence in the field.
- Knowledge of Standards and Frameworks: Proficiency in standards, controls, and frameworks, including CIS Controls, CSA Cloud Controls Matrix, ISO27001, NIST Standards (800-53, CSF), OWASP Top 10, to ensure adherence to industry best practices.
- Incident Response Proficiency: Expertise in supporting cyber incident response processes and maintaining a continuous threat and vulnerability monitoring program to proactively address potential security issues.
- Cloud Security Expertise: At least two years of experience in securing cloud workloads and infrastructure, with proficiency in operating cloud-native security tools and services to provide automation, and preventative and detective controls.
- Advanced Threat Intelligence: In-depth knowledge of the Cyber Kill Chain or MITRE ATT&CK framework, with a proven track record in applying these methodologies to enhance organizational security.
- Identity and Access Management: Developed expertise in Identity and Access Management, including implementing and managing privileged access controls across various systems and networks, both on-premises and cloud-based. Experience in deploying Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions with multiple Identity Providers (IdPs) is highly desirable.
- Adaptable Security Solutions: Ability to implement, operate, and optimize cyber security tools, with the capacity to quickly understand and adapt to new security solutions to ensure optimal operation.
- Leadership and Initiative: Capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks to manage conflicting deadlines, leading a team effectively, and confidently taking initiative to drive security improvements.
- Industry Awareness: An avid cyber security professional who keeps up with industry trends and developments, able to understand the latest advancements and identify opportunities to address control gaps and mitigate known risks.
