Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Product team (Product Manager & CTO) to discuss and implement new APIs and features required for our client's solutions.
- Adhere to internal coding guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability of the codebase, writing well-documented and commented code.
- Develop appropriate tests to accompany code changes, ensuring high code quality and robustness.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of API responses for our client's software solutions.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of practical experience in PHP development.
- Strong proficiency in the Laravel PHP Framework, essential for the role.
- Familiarity with working in a Continuous Integration (CI) environment; experience with Git, PHPUnit for testing, and Jenkins for pre-production processes is advantageous.
- Understanding of web application architecture; knowledge of AWS and/or Azure is a plus, though deep DevOps knowledge is not required.
- Experience in developing and extending JSON APIs to enhance software solutions.
- Basic knowledge of Unix systems and familiarity with Linux commands.
