Jobs.com.cy Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding investment firm with offices across Cyprus, is seeking to recruit a Head of SEO to join their growing team in either Nicosia or Limassol. As the Head of SEO, you will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance the company’s search engine rankings and overall digital presence. In this role, you will lead and manage the SEO team, set clear objectives, and continuously evaluate and adjust strategies to maximize effectiveness.
Our client is looking for candidates ideally educated to degree level in Marketing, PR, Business, or another relevant field. Applicants should have approximately 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. Experience in the Forex and/or Financial Services sectors is essential, along with a strong understanding of current SEO practices, digital marketing tools, and platforms.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement SEO Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve the company’s search engine rankings and digital presence.
- Lead and Manage the SEO Team: Set clear objectives for the team, continuously evaluate progress, and adjust strategies to ensure maximum effectiveness.
- Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research relevant to the financial market to capture traffic for key search terms.
- Content Optimization: Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy to enhance SERP rankings and user experience.
- Collaboration with Content Creators: Work with content creators to ensure all online content is optimized for SEO without compromising quality.
- Analytics and Reporting: Use analytics tools to measure the success of SEO strategies, make data-driven decisions, and refine strategies as needed.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and technologies, particularly those relevant to the financial sector.
- Integration with Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with other department heads to integrate SEO with overall marketing and business strategies.
- Budget Management: Manage the SEO budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Regular Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on SEO progress and initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- SEO Experience: At least 5 years of experience in SEO, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the financial services industry.
- SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of current SEO practices, digital marketing tools, and platforms, including Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective SEO strategies that have led to measurable improvements in traffic and revenue.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends.
