Jobs.com.cy Recruitment, representing our client, a prominent provider of Audit, Tax, Accounting, and Advisory Services serving a diverse clientele, is actively seeking to hire a Junior Auditor for their expanding team based in Nicosia. This role presents an opportunity to participate in audit engagements following International Standards on Auditing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Audit Engagements: Conduct simple to medium-level audit engagements in adherence to International Standards on Auditing.
- Risk Evaluation: Assist in evaluating audit risks and formulating responses for more complex audit engagements.
- Methodology Adherence: Ensure all work is prepared in accordance with the firm’s methodology and standards.
- Financial Statements: Prepare Statutory Financial Statements.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare tax computations and tax returns.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Educational Background: University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a relevant field.
- Professional Qualification: Currently pursuing or recently started ACCA/ACA qualification courses.
- Experience: Previous experience (6+ months) in audit is advantageous.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both written and spoken Greek and English.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of CaseWare or related audit software is a plus.
- Attributes: Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and results-oriented approach.
- Work Ethic: Diligent, methodical, devoted, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
