Mobile QA Engineer

Jobs.com.cy Recruitment is excited to partner with a long-established and highly regarded company in the iGaming industry to recruit a Mobile QA Engineer for their expanding team in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and optimizing mobile products. This role involves testing, monitoring, and submitting mobile products across multiple platforms, including web applications, iOS, and Android. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least two years of experience in mobile application testing and development. Familiarity with Agile frameworks, Jenkins, Selenium, and Xray test case tools is advantageous. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is offered based on skills and experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper submission of apps, adhering to the requirements and guidelines of App Store, Play Store, Huawei, and Microsoft.
• Monitor and handle app store communication with third parties and manage incidents as they arise.
• Monitor app infringements across different stores and the web, and initiate takedowns where appropriate.
• Manage and configure user access, third parties, and affiliates in app store administrative accounts.
• Test mobile devices to ensure their configuration, operation, and capabilities work efficiently.
• Collaborate with device manufacturers, product managers, and development teams to test and optimize mobile products.
• Develop automated test scripts and frameworks for enhanced mobile app performance.
• Work with various databases and coding programs such as Java, HTML, XML, and JSON feeds.
• Update operating systems, specifically iOS and Android.
• Produce clear and concise test reports and release notes for co-workers when needed.
• Provide feedback to development teams on technical, troubleshooting, or operational issues.
• Assist with the configuration of test environments.
• Suggest new processes and policies to improve mobile development techniques.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mobile application testing and development.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks, Jenkins, Selenium, and Xray test case tools is an advantage.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to meet challenging deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
